My Villa in Sardinia was originally created in London as a translation and interpreting agency by Sardinian born Angela Fanunza and her husband Karim Ciaccio, in response to the many requests they received from British friends and acquaintances interested in discovering more about holidaying and/or investing in this strikingly beautiful and unspoilt Mediterranean island. 

Angela moved to London in 1996 after being awarded a grant from her university in Cagliari to carry out some research for her gradutation thesis. She graduated shortly after and then moved back to London where she was awarded a Master degree at Birkbeck college, Univesity of London.

Karim moved to London from Switzerland when he was only 18 and has manage to create a hugely successfull fresh pasta company that was sold in 2001.

Having made several investments in Sardinia themselves, Angela and Karim have acquired a first hand knowledge of the buying process in Italy and of the various channels through which to find properties for sale in Sardinia.

To complement this personal knowledge Angela has also attended a course in Sardinia about conveyancing in Italy (organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Cagliari) as they strive to be constantly updated and to provide their Clients with the best possible service. In this way they have been able to maximise the quality of the assistance provided to their Clients when translating and interpreting for them.

They have in fact acquired an in depth knowledge of the buying process in Italy which coupled with their extensive web of contacts with estate agents, developers and private owners with properties to sell throughout the island, have put them in the position of assisting their Client in their search of the property that best suits their requirements saving them time, money and greatly reducing the stress and frustration of house hunting in a foreign country. Excellent customer service, a deep understanding of their Client’s requirements and personalized assistance up to the signing of the final contract in a notary’s office, are the unmistakable trademark of My Villa in Sardinia. Angela and Karim have never spared themselves in order to achieve the highest level of Customer Satisfaction so much so that a significant number of their Clients are already making enquiries about buying another property in Sardinia. Between them, Angela and Karim can speak Italian, English and French fluently. Angela is a fully qualified translator and interpreter and is registered at the Chamber of Commerce of Cagliari.

My Villa in Sardinia has therefore become an Italian estate agency, M.V.S Immobiliare Srl.  Andrea is a fully qualified estate agent with an enviable record of Customer satisfaction due to his honesty, reliability and straightforward approach to this very difficult business. Stefania is the company’s secretary and her support is fast becoming essential to the day to day running of the company.
